Synneve Goode Atelier explores clothing as a sensorial and intimate experience.
Rooted in a dialogue between Scandinavian functionality, Parisian couture craftsmanship, and a subtle play with old-school Hollywood glamour, each piece is shaped by how fabric meets the body. How it moves, rests, and slowly reveals itself over time. Elegance here is not decorative, but felt.
With over two decades of experience across fashion, design, and creative development, shaped by years living and working between Paris and Scandinavia, Synneve Goode’s practice balances precision with intuition. Her work draws on craftsmanship, proportion, and a deep attention to the body as a site of intelligence, emotion, and expression.
Synneve Goode Atelier creates garments intended to endure. Pieces that invite repetition, reinterpretation, and personal ritual. Moving between softness and structure, minimalism and sensuality, the collections hold a quiet yet distinct presence, allowing individuality to emerge without insistence.
Alongside her own work, Synneve has worked with international fashion houses and cultural institutions including Agent Provocateur, Chanel, Husbands Paris, and the Korea National Opera.
Synneve Goode Atelier is for women drawn to integrity, depth, and a cultivated sense of self, and who enjoy play.
Clothing that does not perform, but accompanies.
MY METHOD
Sensorial Dressing®
Sensorial Dressing® is an ongoing exploration of how fashion and textiles can engage the senses and support well-being.
Developed over more than two decades of working in design, the method grows out of close observation of the emotional and physical experience of clothing. It reflects a long practice of listening to how materials affect the body, how garments influence presence, and how subtle shifts in texture, weight, and form can deepen embodiment and awareness.
Sensorial Dressing® forms part of my broader work with sustainable living, inviting a more attentive and intimate relationship with what we wear and how we inhabit our everyday lives.
The method can be experienced through garments created in private appointments, as well as through curated sensory formats such as workshops, retreats, and dining experiences.
Sensorial Dressing® as Sustainability
Sensorial Dressing® can support several of United Nations Agenda 2030 of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by promoting well-being, sustainable consumption, and environmental stewardship. Here are the key SDGs it aligns with.
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being
Sensorial Dressing® fosters well-being by helping individuals connect deeply with their bodies and senses. Through thoughtful design, it encourages mindfulness, reduces stress, and nurtures emotional and mental balance. Its focus on women’s wellness empowers individuals to embrace their inner strength and feel fabulous, enhancing their overall quality of life.
SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth
By prioritising slow fashion, Sensorial Dressing® supports ethical practices, fair wages, and safe working conditions within the fashion industry. Local production in Malmö provides meaningful employment while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship, ensuring economic growth that is both inclusive and sustainable.
SDG 12: Responsible Consumption & Production
Sensorial Dressing® champions conscious consumption by creating timeless, made-to-order garments crafted from surplus luxury fabrics. This eliminates overproduction and waste while encouraging consumers to invest in high-quality pieces that align with a circular economy, fostering a more sustainable fashion industry.
SDG 13: Climate Action
Through zero-waste practices, the use of surplus fabrics, and a focus on local production, Sensorial Dressing® minimises its environmental impact. By reducing resource consumption and promoting longevity in fashion, it supports global efforts to lower carbon emissions and mitigate climate change.
SDG 15: Life on Land
Sensorial Dressing® promotes respect for nature by using eco-friendly materials and surplus fabrics that reduce the demand for virgin resources. This approach helps protect ecosystems, conserve biodiversity, and raise awareness about the importance of sustainable living in harmony with the environment.
SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals
Collaborations with luxury fabric houses, local suppliers, and artisans are central to Sensorial Dressing®. These partnerships create a shared commitment to sustainability, fostering innovation and collective action to advance shared goals within the fashion industry and beyond.
